Sunset Marquis

Sunset Marquis, a continuing success since Raleigh first built it in 1963, pioneered the "all-suites" concept. It was George Rosenthal's idea that executives working at the Playboy corporate offices, newly developed by Raleigh, as well as entertainers working long stints at the clubs on the Sunset Strip would welcome a home-away-from-home. Today, Sunset Marquis serves as a secret hideaway for celebrities and corporate executives alike.

Three acres surround this 154-suite hotel with its 52 luxurious villas and lush gardens complete with koi ponds. Situated in the heart of LA's creative capital, yet insulated from the hustle and bustle, the hotel is just a stone's throw away from the dining, entertainment and shopping along the famed Sunset Strip. In addition to typical amenities of a luxury hotel, Sunset Marquis houses a state-of-the-art sound studio and underground parking with hook-ups to accommodate two full tour buses, a welcome feature to the hotels music clients when they are on tour. Sophisticated contemporary décor, suites at least 50% larger than the rooms at other luxury hotels and an iron-clad commitment to service are the hallmarks of the Sunset Marquis.

In 2007, Sunset Marquis expanded, creating 40 new world-class villas, an unrivaled Presidential Suite, a spa and new restaurant, all nestled in a garden oasis.
